Lumiventt: Daylight and Moving Air, Built In

Lumiventt® is the reason your hallway is filled with natural light and fresh air instead of dim, artificial strip lighting. Built directly into the structure of the building, this design technology requires no switches, no maintenance, and works from the day you move in.

What you get, floor by floor

Derived from lumen (light) and ventus (wind), the Lumiventt system relies on four architectural elements to change how a high-rise feels.

  • Sky Patios

Three-story openings cut through the building's facade at regular intervals. They allow the building to breathe, pulling fresh air through the core while serving as lush, landscaped garden decks for residents.

  • Central Atriums

An open core that allows warm air to escape upward. It acts as a massive skylight, dropping natural daylight into the center of the building so your walk home is bright and welcoming.

  • Breezeways

Architectural channels designed to catch and direct the wind. They naturally cool shared spaces and disperse ambient noise, preventing the typical echo of a closed apartment corridor.

  • Single-Loaded Corridors

Instead of doors facing each other, units line only one side of the hallway, with an open-air atrium on the other. You open your front door to a refreshing breeze and natural light, rather than a neighbor's door just a few feet away. This open design also ensures continuous ventilation during an emergency.

The corridor test

You don't have to take this on faith. It takes two minutes to prove during a viewing.

First, walk the corridor to the unit you are considering and notice the open space. Second, stand in a Sky Patio and feel the air actually moving. A unit on a single-loaded floor lives entirely differently than one in a standard, sealed building.

Beyond daily comfort, this natural cross ventilation significantly reduces the need for air conditioning and artificial lighting in common areas, lowering the energy the building spends on them.

Where to see it
